USPPA PPG2 certified instruction in the North Puget Sound. 30 minutes north of Seattle via I-5.
Snohomish County sits at a geographic sweet spot for paramotor training: close enough to Seattle for a straightforward commute, but far enough north that the valley terrain opens up into the kind of flat, unobstructed land that makes ground handling and early flight training practical.
Seattle Paramotor trains regularly at sites in and around the Snohomish and Stillaguamish river valleys - both offering wide flat terrain, manageable morning winds, and easy road access from Everett, Marysville, Monroe, and Lynnwood. Students based anywhere in Snohomish County will find Everett-area training to be the most convenient option.
Everett sits directly under some of the most active military airspace in the Pacific Northwest, so site selection is precise - we work within carefully chosen corridors that keep students well clear of restricted zones while still providing excellent flying terrain. All sites are reviewed and approved before any student is launched.
We select training sites based on wind exposure, terrain, airspace, and weather windows. Exact locations are shared with enrolled students.
Snohomish River valley - Wide flat valley east of Everett with excellent terrain for kiting and early supervised flights
Stillaguamish valley (Arlington area) - Broad agricultural plain with consistent morning calm and open sight lines to the Cascades
Monroe / Sultan corridor - Foothills terrain with variable conditions, used for intermediate students and crosswind exposure
Marysville / Stanwood area - Low-lying coastal-adjacent flatlands north of Everett with predictable marine morning air
