USPPA PPG2 certified instruction in the Greater Seattle Area. training sites within 30–60 minutes of the city.
Seattle Paramotor operates training sites throughout the Greater Seattle area and surrounding regions. While Seattle's urban core and Class B airspace make in-city flying impractical, the surrounding farmland, river valleys, and coastal terrain within an hour's drive offer some of the best paramotor training conditions in the Pacific Northwest.
Our training sites are selected specifically for learner-friendly terrain: flat open fields for ground handling, predictable morning winds, and minimal airspace conflicts. If you're based in Seattle or anywhere in King County, you're within easy reach of a full week of PPG2 certification training.
Seattle Paramotor is the only USPPA certified paramotor flight school operating across Western Washington with a structured 10-day PPG2 curriculum and a hard cap of 4 students per class. We don't run factory-style training operations.
We select training sites based on wind exposure, terrain, airspace, and weather windows. Exact locations are shared with enrolled students.
Snoqualmie Valley - Flat river valley terrain ideal for ground handling and first flights, approximately 30 minutes east of Seattle
Enumclaw area - Open agricultural land on the Cascade foothills, calm morning conditions, approximately 45 minutes southeast of Seattle
Kent/Auburn valley - Flat industrial-edge terrain with consistent morning air, 30 minutes south of the city center
Whidbey Island (ferry accessible) - Coastal terrain with ocean approaches, used for advanced students and summer sessions
